One of the simplest things to do that sometimes gets overlooked is the vanity URL on Facebook. I’m not a super fan of Facebook; it’s a necessary evil, in my opinion, especially if you are going to run ads on Facebook or Instagram.
If you’re an emerging brand or small business owner who has a company Facebook Page, have you already customized that page URL? Make it easy for your customers and potential partners, collaborators, friends, etc.
It’s a simple fix you can do in a minute.

At the time of publishing this, things have changed again with Facebook. You no longer have to go to fb.com/pagename to update the URL. In fact, that web address doesn’t even exist anymore!
Once you’re logged into Facebook, head to your Page. Then click on Page Settings, then Edit Page Info.
You should see this window and the option to change your company page’s username. That’s it.

If your desired username (URL) is available and is compliant to Facebook’s policies, the change will move forward.
Refresh your page and check your web address.
This basic change is so helpful for fans and YOU to share your Facebook Page’s URL. Who wants to tell someone “Hey, can you like my page? It’s fb.com/3947392850939492849504.” That’s impossible to remember.
Make your change now and update the web address wherever you’ve placed it (website, profiles, emails, etc).
